The final of the 2011 Musical Comedy Awards are being held on Saturday 19th March 2011 at the New Players Theatre London (You can buy tickets here).

Hosted by last year's runners up Horse and Louis, it’s going to be a fun night as alongside the five finalists, the show will feature performances from Comedy Songs favourite Mitch Benn, DJ Danny (from BBC3’s ‘Mischief’ and Radio 4’s ‘The Museum of Everything’) and stand-up comedian Gareth Richards.

Chosen from the initial 40 competitors by industry judges and the audience on the night of the heats there are now just 5 Musical Comedy Awards finalists:

Jollyboat
The Three Englishmen
Carly Smallman
Tom McDonnell
Mae Martin

But who will be the one to claim the title of Musical Comedy act of 2011?
